Native Wildflowers, Grasses and Rushes

Our native plants are available for purchase at our nursery, local festivals and farmer markets, as well as several native plant events in the mid-Atlantic region.   Again this year we will be hosting several free open house events at our nursery.  For more details and our 2008 open house schedule, please visit our Wildlife Habitat Garden  web page.   With the exception of scheduled open houses, our native plant nursery and wildlife habitat garden are open by appointment only.  Orders for native plants or habitat boxes may be picked up by arrangement.

Please note that additional species will be available later this year, so contact us for updates.  Also, a few of the native species that we offer are more appropriate for large restoration projects than home gardens due to their aggressive or weedy tendencies.  Let us know what your project is, so that we can help you select a plant appropriate for your site.  Information on table symbols, taxonomic synonyms, prices, availability and botanical references follows at the end of the species list (see below).
